For one of our clients, we’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator (Oracle) to join a global technology organisation. In a time where digitalisation and modern IT infrastructures are reshaping the world, this role sits at the heart of a technology-driven environment — close to the business, focused on performance, reliability, and innovation.

You’ll be part of an agile setup where most systems are developed in-house. The team combines the stability of established platforms with the curiosity to explore new technologies — automation, data, and cloud are all part of the journey.

What you’ll do

• Administer, configure, and implement Oracle databases in a high-availability environment
• Plan and provision new database systems
• Automate and streamline existing processes
• Run migrations, patches, and upgrades
• Support projects and provide technical advice
• Ensure stable storage, backup, and archiving operations

What you bring

• Background in IT (vocational training or degree)
• Solid experience with Oracle RAC
• Ideally first experience in relational database administration
• Skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible, or Shell scripting are a plus
• Familiarity with Linux
• Strong communication skills in English (German a plus)
