Organization Programmer HOST Environment

As an organization programmer, you are responsible for the support & further development of a core banking system of a Landesbank.

Become part of our team of experts and contribute your technical know-how to ensure stable, high-performance, and secure applications.

These Tasks Await You:

• Coordination and structuring of the client's technical requirements
• Creation of IT concepts and cost estimates in a dynamic environment
• Design of the application and specification of the technical components in a host-based environment
• Implementation/programming of change requests from the client as well as maintenance activities and bug fixes as part of the application management of banking applications

What You Bring With You:

• Comprehensive expertise, acquired through a sound training or study path and at least 10 years of practical experience
• Very good knowledge and many years of practical experience in the HOST environment with a focus on COBOL, DB2/SQL, and IMS-DB/DC
• Banking understanding of complex interrelationships
• High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
• Courage to make decisions and work independently
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German

• Expert knowledge: Cobol programming language, Windows Script Host (WSH), DB2 database, IMS database
