The Opportunity:

Finatal is working with a sought-after global software investor looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Origination Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established but fast-growing company in a key sourcing role.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and evaluate attractive companies based on the company’s investment criteria.
• Prospect and contact potential companies through channels such as email, phone, and conferences.
• Build relationships and trust with software business owners in core verticals, and manage engagement programs.
• Collaborate across teams to drive business outcomes and contribute innovative sourcing ideas.
• Utilize company software tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in M&A deal sourcing or origination within private equity or VMS acquisitions.
• Experience in business development or software sales is advantageous.
• Genuine curiosity about SaaS software and business, with a passion for lifelong learning.
• Ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment, leveraging data for decision-making.
• Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and critical metrics.
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to foster two-way communication.
• Passion for sales and improving data-driven approaches.
• Growth mindset with entrepreneurial drive and a desire to succeed.
• Degree in Finance or relevant experience in software sales and M&A is a plus.
