Are you a supporter of backbones, a companion, and a drum master for rattles? Do you want to give children the best school time and accompany them on their path to becoming self-determined and responsible individuals? Have you successfully completed your training or studies in the pedagogical field?

If yes, then apply now part-time (up to 20 hours per week) for our open all-day elementary school at the Städtische Gemeinschaftsgrundschule Tente in Wermelskirchen as a pedagogical specialist or assistant (w/m/d).

Your Tasks

The charm of the rural structure of the Tente catchment area is reflected in the family-like profile of the open all-day elementary school of GGS Tente. A multiprofessional team of pedagogical specialists and assistants currently cares for around 80 students. For cross-class support, there is a cafeteria for shared lunch, rooms for various leisure activities, and a spacious outdoor area. Homework is done in the classroom with the class. A generous school expansion is planned in the coming years, and the room concept allows OGS staff to help shape a future-oriented full-day program.

Your responsibilities include pedagogical support for children in grades 1-4 in education and leisure activities, as well as homework help. The OGS offering largely depends on the pedagogical staff, who can influence the program with their skills and interests. Core working hours are on weekdays between 11:30 am and 4:00 pm, with full-day hours during school holidays and non-instruction days.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training in the pedagogical field
• Alternatively: Qualification "SchulTAG Basic and Advanced Course" (also offered for career changers)
• Experience in situation-oriented work

• Teamwork and willingness to actively participate
• Interest in developing pedagogical quality
• Identification with the pedagogical concept and DRK principles
