We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Partner Solutions Architect (AI/Apps) to drive our partner's security transformation within the EMEA Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) team. This is a partner-facing role, owning the app-focused technical relationship and strategy between the partner and Microsoft.

Enterprise Partner Sales, part of Microsoft's Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization, is accountable for building and co‑selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services with global partners.

As a Partner Solutions Architect (AI/Apps) you will guide our most significant partners to design and implement innovative, scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that meet market needs. You will leverage technical leadership, cloud computing, problem solving, and systems architecture skills to ensure optimized performance and cost‑efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Guide solution development & activation – lead new or enhanced partner offerings aligned with Microsoft Cloud priorities, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and tailored to evolving customer needs.
• Empower innovation – run technical innovation workshops, briefings, and envisioning sessions to build technical intensity across partner teams; collaborate with engineering and product teams to accelerate adoption of emerging technologies.
• Strategic sales enablement – activate transformational deals by providing architectural guidance, resolving technical blockers, and enhancing solution design to drive cloud workload consumption and revenue impact.
• Champion technical excellence – guide partners through architecture design sessions, proof‑of‑concepts, and MVP builds; ensure solutions follow Microsoft Cloud & AI best practices and are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Thought leadership & stakeholder management – build long‑term engagements with strategic partners, influence adoption of Microsoft technologies, develop deep technical relationships with CXOs, and foster executive alignment.
• Partner enablement & business acumen – coach broader partner technical teams to embed pre‑sales, deployment, and consumption into solution development; help partners build resilience to technical challenges and translate technical concepts into business value.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, or related practice development and architecture.
• OR equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead or contribute to delivery of complex, deep technical projects in customer‑facing environments, ensuring successful outcomes in remote or distributed settings.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or extensive experience in relevant cloud/infrastructure technologies.
• Experience working in a customer‑facing role (internal or external).
• Experience working on technical projects.
• Technical certification(s) in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, security certifications).
