Role Overview

The Partner Development Representative (PDR) is responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing high-quality partnership opportunities. • Outreach & Engagement: Develop and execute a strategy for reaching out to potential partners.
  • Lead Qualification: Engage with potential partners to understand their business needs and qualify their interest in partnering with your company.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings between the Partner Manager and qualified potential partners.
  • Follow-Up and Nurturing: After initial contact, follow up with potential partners, keeping them engaged, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Handover to Partner Manager: Once a potential partner has been engaged and a meeting is scheduled, prepare a detailed handover, providing the Partner Manager with all necessary context.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Partner Manager and other internal teams to ensure alignment on partnership strategies and to gather insights for refining outreach campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with potential partners.
  • Sales Acumen: An understanding of sales processes, particularly B2B sales and partnership development.
  • Research Skills: Ability to research and identify potential partners who align with the company's objectives.
  • CRM Management: Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage partner interactions and track progress.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally, through trust, transparency, and personalised engagement.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong BDR or sales background with an interest in transitioning to a more strategic partnership-focused role.
  • Goal-oriented, with a desire to help drive business growth through collaboration with partners.
  • A self-starter who is proactive in identifying and engaging new opportunities. Adaptability and emotional intelligence are critical for this role.

At Payhawk, we believe in creating a collaborative environment where your contributions drive our collective success—and where you are recognized, celebrated, and supported every step of the way.
