    Join our Payment Operations team at Moss as a Payment Operations Analyst (f/m/d)!

    Our Payment Operations team handles all our payments processes, guaranteeing a seamless and efficient experience for our customers across various countries. As part of this team, you will have a strong focus on investigating and resolving payment issues, implementing outside-the-box solutions, as well as working closely with stakeholders inside and outside the organisation to ensure scalability and sustainability of our processes.

    Your responsibilities

    No day is the same at Moss, but here’s an idea of what you could be doing day-to-day:

    • Investigate payment issues: Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bank and card payment issues across our key markets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

    • Prevent payment failures: Leverage data analysis to identify trends and root causes of payment declines to reduce failure rates and improve customer experience

    • Manage dunning and collections processes: track overdue payments and work together with external dunning and collections partners to collect outstanding debt

    • Prepare reports: Be responsible for timely and accurate partner reporting

    • Own processes and support product improvements: Maintain and improve operational processes and documentation, and support testing and rollout of new features, workflows and initiatives in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams


    About you

    We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • Bachelor's degree or initial working experience (also internship experience)

    • Strong communication skills in English (C1) and German (B2)

    • Basic knowledge of SQL is a strong plus

    In addition, here are the skills and attributes we are looking for:

    • Analytical: By effectively leveraging your SQL, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and workflow automation skills, you drive solutions supported by data.

    • Improvement-driven: With a proactive mindset, you identify and address inefficiencies in payment processes, striving to streamline operations and improve workflows, while also prioritising tasks strategically to ensure maximum impact from your efforts.

    • Collaborative: Engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders, you communicate clearly and methodically to ultimately deliver exceptional service to customers.

    • Quality-oriented: You consistently execute tasks with a reliable and error-free approach, taking pride in the quality of your work.
