People Business Partner – Operations & Production. Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. The role involves establishing HR structures and processes for Helsing's new production division and ensuring they are fit for the future. In this key position, you will work closely with production, management and HR colleagues, providing the right input in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and further develop HR processes and frameworks specifically for the production area (e.g. recruiting, onboarding, shift models, HR services, labour law, qualification, etc.).
  • Provide operational and strategic HR support for the setup of production, including recruiting activities.
  • Act as sparring partner for managers in HR-related issues throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Define HR standards in the production environment and collaborate on tech-driven HR projects.
  • Develop and implement pragmatic solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Support change management initiatives during the company’s growth phase.
  • Collaborate closely with other HR functions, including international ones (e.g. recruiting, payroll).
  • Identify optimisation opportunities in HR and production processes and implement concrete measures.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in a comparable HR role, ideally with a focus on production or industry.
  • Experience in establishing HR structures and processes in dynamic, fast-growing organisations.
  • Ability to identify needs, develop appropriate solutions and implement them pragmatically.
  • Hands-on mentality with strategic thinking skills.
  • High initiative, strong sense of responsibility and willingness to embrace change.
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, and ability to interact at all hierarchical levels.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
