Your Role & Scope at SellerX

At SellerX, we’re strengthening our People Team and looking for a People Operations & Payroll Partner (x/f/m) who thrives in complexity, takes ownership, and ensures seamless, compliant payroll across borders. You’ll be the backbone of our payroll operations — mainly for Germany and the US — while also shaping broader People Operations across our global organization.

In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end payroll cycles across Europe and the US — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Act as the go-to person for payroll and employee queries, providing clear and empathetic support.
• Stay ahead of legal and regulatory changes impacting payroll and people operations.
• Support key HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, contract and status changes).
• Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and our global People team to ensure smooth, integrated operations.

What will help you thrive:

• 2-4 years preparing Germany Payroll (US payroll a strong plus).
• Experience working with external payroll providers; migration or vendor consolidation experience is a plus.
• Strong command of German on native level and fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Confident with Excel and familiar with HRIS tools (HiBob experience preferred).
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset — you take ownership and make things happen.
