    About Us

    We are a fast-growing, US-focused DTC baby brand trusted by thousands of parents. We run a high volume of performance creatives across Meta. Quality, safety, and speed matter to us.


    Role Overview

    We are hiring a part-time Performance Ad Video Editor to turn provided scripts and raw footage into high-converting short-form ads. You will work from our scripts, examples, and brand guidelines, and deliver 10–15 ads per week the formats are similar and templated. After the contract is active on Upwork, we will coordinate day to day via WhatsApp and manage assets in Google Drive.


    Time Commitment

    Approx 5 hours per week, ongoing.


    What You Will Do

    • Edit short-form performance ads from provided scripts, shot lists, and raw assets.
    • Create multiple hook variations, cuts, overlays, voice overs and end cards per concept.
    • Add on-brand captions or subtitles, SFX, transitions, and music royalty-free.
    • Export and upload final files to our Google Drive using our naming convention.
    • Work independently and deliver on time with no hand-holding.
    • Follow our compliance and brand safety notes for the baby category no medical claims, respectful tone for parents.


    Weekly Deliverables

    10–15 ads per week, primarily 30–45 seconds, 9:16 with occasional 1:1 or 16:9 on request.

    Adding captions is sometimes necessary


    Tools and Skills Must Have:

    • 1: plus years hands-on with Video editing Software
    • Strong grasp of direct-response editing pacing, first 2 seconds hook logic, CTA framing.
    • Comfort with UGC style and native platform best practices Meta or TikTok or YouTube Shorts.
    • Organized in Google Drive and can follow file structures and versioning.
    • Clear written English and responsive collaboration via WhatsApp after hire on Upwork.


    Tech Specs

    MP4 H.264, 1080×1920 or per provided specs, target file size 30–50 MB or less when possible.

    Safe margins for captions and CTA, no copyrighted music or assets.


    How We Will Work

    We provide scripts, raw footage, brand kit, example ads, voiceovers if needed.

    You deliver a weekly package of finished ads plus hooks in our Drive folder, ready to launch.

    Rapid feedback loops via WhatsApp post contract.

    IP transfer and NDA required, all outputs are work for hire.


    Compensation

    Hourly or weekly retainer aligned to approx 5 hrs per week, plus performance bonuses for winning creatives.

    • Share 3–5 links to short-form paid ads you edited UGC or native style preferred.
    • List your primary tools and years of experience.
    • Confirm availability to deliver 10–15 ads per week within approx 5 hours.
    • Your time zone and preferred working window.


    Nice to Have:

    • Experience in the baby or parenting niche or other sensitive categories.
    • Comfort creating simple graphic end cards in Figma or After Effects.


    Trial Task Paid

    We will start with a paid test 1 concept, multiple hooks using our assets and script. If we both like the collaboration, we will proceed long term.
