Position: AI Personal Finance Data Specialist

Type: Full-time
Compensation: $90,000–$200,000/year
Location: Based in Palo Alto, CA (in-office, 5 days per week) or fully remote
Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Use proprietary tools to label, annotate, and evaluate personal finance data.
• Provide expert input across scenarios involving investing, budgeting, and tax planning.
• Collaborate with research teams to train and refine AI systems for financial reasoning.
• Help design and improve annotation tools tailored for financial data.
• Interpret evolving task instructions accurately and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Professional experience in personal finance or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments with limited information.
• Demonstrated interest in technology and AI applications in finance.

Preferred

• Relevant certification or training (e.g., CFP, CFA, Enrolled Agent).
• Experience mentoring or training others in financial planning, investing, or tax preparation.
• Familiarity with AI workflows, data annotation, or related technical environments.
• Comfortable recording short audio or video sessions for data collection.
