Stellenbeschreibung:

PHP Software Developer
Contract length: 220 days initial contract (Up to 48 months including renewals)
Work setting: Remote, potential visits to Warsaw on occasion
Daily rate: 265 €


Role Objectives
• Deploy and maintain PHP-based training and learning management applications in Microsoft Azure Cloud, integrated with Frontex systems.
• Design, develop, and manage new software features in line with evolving business requirements.
• Ensure business continuity, performance optimization, and alignment with business processes.
• Maintain applications through corrective, adaptive, and preventive measures.
• Provide ongoing 2nd and 3rd line technical support.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Development & Deployment:
• Design and develop PHP-based training and learning systems in line with business requirements
• Adapt and deploy applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Owners to translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Conduct performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Produce technical, design, and user documentation.
• Prototype solutions and contribute to backlog refinement.


Maintenance & Support
• Perform adaptive, corrective, and preventive maintenance of PHP-based applications.
• Implement modifications due to system updates, plugins, and infrastructure changes.
• Repair failures, vulnerabilities, and bugs to restore full operational capability.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support on a daily basis.


Quality & Delivery
• Report on development work and maintain documentation.
• Estimate effort, set development standards, and interpret software metrics.
• Ensure 90% of bugs/failures resolved by the end of each Sprint.
• Support testing, quality assurance, change management, and release processes.


Experience
• At least 4 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years of project experience in a similar role.
• At least 5 years of PHP development experience.
• Direct participation in 3+ successful projects involving PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL/MSSQL.
• Experience in cloud deployment (min. 2 projects).
• Proven knowledge of the full solution lifecycle.


Skills & Knowledge
• Expert in enterprise-level software systems development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL/MSSQL.
• Familiarity with UML, system design, and Scrum methodologies.
• Capable of leading development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Frontend development skills (JS, ES6, CSS extension languages, Bootstrap).


Certifications (Mandatory – at least 1)
• Intermediate-level certificate in software development relevant to the domain, or Equivalent internationally recognized certification (e.g., PHP, software architecture).
