About The Role We’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of multiple German entities, including one industrial plant and five associated companies. Reporting to both the Plant Director and Group CFO, this is a highly visible role responsible for financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and team leadership. You’ll play a pivotal role in performance monitoring, internal controls, and financial system optimisation within a multinational group structure. Responsibilities Ensure accurate statutory financial reporting and compliance with German and Group standards.Prepare and present monthly closings (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and rolling forecasts.Lead budgeting processes and provide performance analysis and corrective guidance.Manage treasury and cash flow, anticipating financing needs and liaising with Group Treasury.Oversee accounting operations, fixed asset management, and inventory valuations.Implement Group internal controls and deploy financial procedures at the local level.Lead a team of 3 finance professionals, including goal-setting and development.Act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and government bodies.Ensure optimal use of SAP and Texware systems; support integration with Group IT strategy. Requirements Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school, with specialisation in corporate finance.3–10 years of experience in finance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors.Proven experience in accounting, tax, controlling, and financial reporting.Strong command of ERP systems (SAP) and finance software (Texware, BFC).Fluent in English; French is a plus.Comfortable in matrix organisations and multicultural environments.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.High levels of rigor, ethics, and confidentiality in all financial activities.
