WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Analytics Platform team is part of the Data Platform department. We are focused on building the perfect setup for Data & non-Data stakeholders to own their data, work with it and publish data products. This includes a self-service platform, data architecture, governance, tooling, best practices and expert advisory.

• Understand our overarching goals around Data Mesh and our organisation setup to tailor the implementation of features
• Ideate, design and implement product/features for evolving our analytics platform
• Maintain the few Core Pipelines owned by our Team
• Analyse usage, costs, and metadata with a bird's-eye view to identify impactful optimizations in setup, runtime, and delivery speed for our stakeholders
• Weekly rotation to support Service Desk requests and Office Hours

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with an analytical mindset
• Solid understanding of architectural trade-offs, design principles and engineering best practices
• Strong engineering skills (Python, Bash, SQL) to develop self-service features and evolve our offering
• Understanding of Data Mesh approach and ability to tailor it to specific needs
• Experience with our tech stack is a bonus: AWS/Snowflake/Airflow/DBT/Metabase/Datahub
