The Role

As a senior PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing the software and all the automation-related questions within the projects. The work is project-based, and you will collaborate closely with project managers, electrical and mechanical engineers – a competent and social team with strong expertise. You will be a key player in every project – from programming to testing and final delivery.

The project cycle includes:

• Project work and programming – building the machine’s functionality in software
• Workshop testing – verifying functionality at Core Link’s workshop in Falkenberg or in Poland
• Commissioning and start-up at the customer’s site – including functional testing, troubleshooting, and training

As travel is a natural part of the role, you should be comfortable working both in Sweden and internationally.

Your Profile

You have documented experience within the roll handling segment and possess expert-level proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal.

You are a curious problem-solver who enjoys understanding and influencing the overall technical solution. You are also:

• Structured and responsible, able to drive your parts of the project forward
• Cooperative and communicative, with strong teamwork skills
• Flexible and solution-oriented, as no two days are alike

Requirements

• Expert skills within roll handling segment and Siemens TIA Portal
• Willingness to travel for work, both nationally and internationally
• English, both spoken and written
