PLC software developer

Area of responsibility:

• Creation of the complete machine software in the area of HMI, control and drive technology for our packaging machine
• Part of a project team and responsible for the program preparation, commissioning, acceptance and data backup of our packaging machines
• Clarification of project-specific requirements of the control functions within the project team 
• Creation of concepts, specifications and solutions for interfaces and functions of software modules in close coordination with specialist colleagues, application technology, mechanical and electrical engineering 
• Implementation of control software for the modular system and for order-specific solutions
• Performance of quality assurance tests and participation in the development of system and validation tests
• Supporting the project management in project planning and tracking progress of projects 
• Supporting the project and sales management regarding technical questions 

Requirements:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or comparable training (technician specializing in electrical engineering or mechatronics) 
• High quality standards; ideally professional experience in commissioning and programming PLCs and servo drives
• Programming knowledge of machine controls, ideally PacDrive 3 Motion Control Systems from Schneider or with Codesys 
• Good knowledge of English
• Independent, analytical and responsible working methods in addition to ability to work in a team and communication skills
