Policy Adviser

Your responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse political and economic developments in Germany and countries of accreditation,
• Drafting reports, briefings and policy advice
• Organise official visits and meetings
• Support engagement with German Länder and cross-accredited countries
• Identify and build relationships with key contacts and influencers
• Represent the Embassy at conferences, workshops and events
• Lead the Embassy’s social media presence and contribute to public diplomacy initiatives

Your profile

• Tertiary qualification (Bachelor level or higher)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in policy, international relations and communications is an advantage
• Legally entitled to live and work in Germany
