We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Scientist position in the Molecular Neuropathology Group (headed by Prof. Dr. Sascha Weggen) at our Department of Neuropathology. The group focuses on disease mechanisms and the development of novel treatment modalities for Alzheimer’s disease using advanced molecular, biochemical, and medicinal chemistry approaches. The research project will investigate the role of ADAMTS proteases in Alzheimer’s disease (refer to Walter 2019, Acta Neuropathol 137:239-57). The successful candidate will join a dynamic, stimulating, and collaborative working environment with excellent research facilities.
