Position Overview

This postdoctoral position focuses on applying metagenomic and bioinformatics approaches to study microbial communities in health and the environment. The project investigates how microbial diversity and function are shaped by environmental factors and their implications for human health. The researcher will have access to large sequencing datasets and collaborations with clinical and environmental partners.

• PhD in bioinformatics, microbiology, computational biology, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in genomics or metagenomics.
• Strong analytical and computational background.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis.
• Skills in statistical analysis, data integration, and visualization.
• Experience with high-performance computing environments is desirable.

Approx. €52,000 – €59,000 per annum with full benefits.
