About the teamOur "Advanced Powertrain Technology" team focuses on the advanced technologies in electric powertrain field, include powertrain and powernet system architectures, different integration solutions, power electronic technologies (inverter, charger, dc/dc etc.), new types of e-machine, innovated gearbox solutions and new component technologies. Duties and responsibilitiesPower Electronics Architecture DesignLead the overall architecture design of power electronic systems, including the selection of topological structures (such as DC/DC converter, inverter etc.), the planning of power flow, and the selection and parameter definition of core components (such as power semiconductors, capacitors, inductors, etc.);Develop simulation models to conduct simulation verification of the architecture scheme, including steady-state/dynamic performance, fault response, thermal distribution, etc., so as to identify potential risks in advance.Research Project ManagementForge and maintain strategic partnerships with leading technical institutes and regional suppliers for collaborative R&D;Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, status reviews, risk mitigation, and on-site oversight;Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on time and meet technical targets.Electric Drive Technology ManagementMonitor and analyze global technology trends across power electronics: architecture, EMC, power modules etc;Perform competitive benchmark studies and distill findings into regular insights reports for stakeholders;Identify white-space opportunities and inform strategic roadmap decisions.Next-Gen Technology DevelopmentResearch, evaluate, and prioritize breakthrough concepts in power electronics architectures;Lead feasibility studies, technical assessments, and risk analyses of advanced solutions;Collaborate closely with China-based engineering teams to co-develop, prototype, and validate high-potential concepts, ensuring seamless handoff of technical work packages into integration.
RequirementsEducation/ExperienceMaster's degree or above, majoring in Power Electronics, Automotive Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related fields,PhD or 5+ years of experience at leading OEM or Tier-1/2 supplier preferred; Experience in industry-leading product development and mass production is preferred;Have successful experience in inverter or DCDC converter development, and those who develop products to achieve mass production status are preferred.KnowledgeProficiency in the basic topological principles of power electronics hardware;Proficiency in schematic diagrams and PCB Layout design rules;Proficiency in the principles of SiC and IGBT power modules.Skills and CompetenciesPassionate about engineering, with a strong spirit of innovation;Good team worker, strong sense of responsibility, good at communication especially work in different culture;Proficient in Matlab/Python or other programming;Proactive, with pioneering spirit and a good sense of internal and external client;Good command of English written and oral communication skills.
