Develop mechanical models for power module components and assemblies according to performance and tolerance requirements;
Collaborate with thermal and electrical simulation experts to enhance design concepts;
Define the Bill of Materials (BoM) including Cu materials, substrates, wires, packaging materials, etc.; coordinate with top-tier suppliers for material procurement;
Support the process development expert building of fully functional demonstrator power module samples using SiC MOSFETs;
Conduct failure analysis after functionality or reliability testing, in collaboration with local partners or universities, and refine the design accordingly.
Master’s degree or PHD in Microelectronics, Power Electronics, Thermal/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
Hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical component design, including jigs and fixtures;
Proficiency in CAD software such as Catia or SolidWorks etc., with a proven ability to create 3D component and assembly models;
Basic understanding of power electronics is essential;
Familiarity with power module manufacturing equipment and processes is a plus;
Experience in power electronics failure analysis is an advantage;
Strong communication skills; proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
