PR Manager

Overview

PR Manager position at HONOR. HONOR is a global provider of smart devices focused on innovation, quality and service to empower people worldwide.

Responsibilities

• To create HONOR’s annual and half-yearly global media communication strategy to support the development of HONOR’s tech brand image.
• To create HONOR’s global product launch communication plan and deliver PR materials that generate coverage through global influence and local market media.
• Provide guidance and support to local markets for media-related matters such as media briefings, executive interviews, media attendance, and promotion of events through media outlets.
• Be a key member of event project teams handling top industry events such as CES, MWC, and IFA.
• Develop expert-level understanding of HONOR products through close interaction with internal product-focused teams (product marketing, R&D, etc.).
• Stay actively up to date on consumer technology trends and understand how global media operate, with a focus on tech media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field.
• Proficiency in English and German.
• At least 8 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, including tech PR, tech journalism, or product PR.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing with media.
• Experience in creating high-quality communication materials.
• Self-motivated with strong communication abilities to convey complex ideas clearly; able to learn and adapt quickly.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
