PreSales and Project Engineer - DACH (m/f/x)

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. PreSales technical support, generation of RFI/RFP responses, covering technical consulting and requirements capture
2. Conceptual system design, Scope of Work creation and quotations
3. Ensuring the provision of appropriate process documentation to support the Customer, Sales, Sales Administration, Technical PreSales - System engineering, R&D / Product Management, Support, and the Project Delivery team
4. Technical presentations, Product/System demonstrations, System PoCs and support for tradeshows, exhibitions, events
5. Create system-wide solutions, utilizing IP infrastructure standards covering Audio, Video, Metadata and Control
6. Configuration, Commissioning and programming of the products/system
7. Deliver system solutions, commissioning remote and/or on-site products/solutions
8. Assist in After-Sales support process
9. Technical troubleshooting (remote/on-site)
10. Adherence to established processes and tools
11. Close cooperation with the LAWO headquarters in Rastatt
YOUR PROFILE
1. Education in the broadcast, audio, electrical engineering, or a related field is required
2. Network/IT knowledge
3. Experience in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, and IP projects
4. Expertise in operational workflow
5. Passion for new technology
6. Structured way of working and problem-solving ability
7. Driven by delivering service excellence
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills – German and English required, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian are nice to have
9. Ability to work alone with little or no supervision
10. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
11. Readiness for international and local travel – 30% to 50%
