Job summaryWe are in the market for a Presales Sales Engineer with professional proficiency in German to join our GTM team in Germany.As Presales Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for establishing credibility while driving and managing all the technical aspects of the sales process. You will partner with Account Executives as a trusted and key technical advisor for DigiCert PKI/IoT/Signing solutions, articulate how DigiCert delivers value to technical and business stakeholders to enable them to make informed decisions as well as developing strong relationships with prospects, partners and customers to retain and grow existing accounts across the DACH region.This is a remote position. What you will doPartner with the Account Executive team, taking responsibility for technical closure to drive revenue and customer successDevelop and maintain a deep technical understanding of DigiCert PKI/IoT/Signing solutions & architectureProvide demonstrations of DigiCert solutions and services to key prospects/customersFacilitate technical evaluations of customer engagements in a Proof of Value (POV) environmentAssist in response to functional and technical elements of RFPs/RFIsAnalyze customer needs and architect/develop potential solutions based on DigiCert PKI/IoT/Signing solutions and services to meet customer objectivesBe the voice of the customer. Capture feature request input from prospects/customers to provide feedback to the Product Management teamsEffectively manage projects through planning, tracking, and reportingWork independently and in conjunction with other members of the sales team and cross-functional teamsBe a technical resource to present topics at field events such as conferences, seminars, as neededTravel as necessary to customer sites and industry forums/conferences as needed to support the objectives of the departmentOther duties as requiredTerritory: DACH regionExpected Travel is 20-25% What you will have Professional working proficiency in German & English (essential)2+ years of Pre-sales/Sales/Solutions Engineering or Consulting experience in cyber security or PKIUnderstanding of IT systems, cloud computing, and networking fundamentals.Working knowledge of common IT technologies found in enterprise environments (Windows, Linux, Mac, AD/AAD/LDAP, load balancers, web servers, etc.) Deep technical understanding of PKI, digital trust, and cybersecurity principles, applying best practices in security design and implementation. Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow, GitHub, and REST API integrations.Hands-on experience of scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) and container technologies like Kubernetes.Hands-on skills to perform product demonstrations and proof-of-concept integrations.Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Benefits Pension FundLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEducation Support Program __PRESENT__PRESENT__PRESENT__PRESENT
