Stellenbeschreibung:

We’re looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer (Java or C#)
to join our Site Reliability Team, working on real-time wallet & transactional systems in the iGaming domain.

This is a Principal-level position where you’ll tackle high-load environments, concurrency challenges, and scaling complex systems on-prem (no cloud).

If you've worked with wallet microservices, transactional flows, or game-related backend systems – we want to talk to you.



Requirements:
• Experience with wallet systems, transactional systems, and concurrent transactions – is critical.
• Experience designing or maintaining systems under high load and in real-time environments.
• Proven experience as a Principal Engineer or Tech Lead on backend-heavy projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Java or C#/.NET (Senior level).
• For .NET: strong expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Kafka and distributed caching systems (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
• Experience designing and supporting systems on-prem (no public cloud; bare-metal/VM infrastructure).
• 5+ years of iGaming domain experience is a must.



Responsibilities:
• Resolve complex technical incidents and performance bottlenecks in backend systems, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable backend solutions with a focus on transaction integrity and consistency.
• Handle concurrency, load spikes, sharding/partitioning, and ensure idempotency in transaction flows.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and SRE team to drive platform-wide improvements.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and code quality standards across teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, QA, infrastructure) to ensure a reliable gaming experience in a real-time wallet processing context.
