THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Principal/Senior Software Engineer in the Pricing, Product and Consumer Insights (PPCI) team, you will develop ML forecasting models and data pipelines, following engineering best practices with a focus on operational excellence.

You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to build and maintain ML-based forecasting products used in business decisions throughout the assortment lifecycle.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO

• Lead the development of ML forecasting models and data pipelines, combining hands-on coding with team guidance.
• Translate business needs into product development priorities.
• Communicate with stakeholders about forecast performance and expectations.
• Collaborate with leaders across science, engineering, product, and commercial teams.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge within the community.
• Implement and promote best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Data and Machine Learning pipelines, ML Ops expertise.
• Experience delivering automated ML products operational 24/7.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), relational databases (Redshift), ETL, data warehouses/lakes (Airflow, DBT).
• Experience with data analysis tools like Pandas, numpy, Plotly, Jupyter, Databricks.
• Strong collaboration with data scientists and ML engineers.
