Private Equity Specialist - Financial Modeling

Role Overview

Position: Private Equity Expert – Contract, Remote
Commitment: At least 10 hours per week
Duration: Minimum four-week engagement starting in October
Mission: Contribute to a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. Enhance AI capabilities in private equity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and market sizing analyses to improve AI-generated content in private equity.
• Review investment summaries and memos to ensure alignment with industry standards and accuracy.
• Develop comprehensive due diligence processes and CIM creation methodologies for AI training.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to refine model outputs and enhance training data quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI model performance improvements.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in private equity at top firms
• Expertise in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, and investment summaries
• Experience in CIM creation, NDA/legal document processing, and deal sourcing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with asynchronous work and flexible scheduling
• Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week

Engagement Details

Compensation: $130/hour with potential increases for top performers
Contract Type: At-will contractor
Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours
Location: Remote, available to U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Australia-based candidates
