Process Automation Engineer - Oil & Gas
Location: North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (Hybrid)
Employment type: Freelance (12 months)
g2 Recruitment is currently looking for an engineer experienced in process automation within the Oil & Gas industry to support a growing team. The role is hybrid, with flexible on‑site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and program automation systems such as sensors and communication networks
- Calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems
- Analyse hazards and implement safety and security protocols
- Operate DCS software, particularly Siemens PCS7
- Work with SCADA systems and HMI
- Apply industry‑specific experience in Oil & Gas settings
