We seek an experienced, innovative, customer-focused Process Engineer to standardize processes, integrate latest technologies in our Delivery Stations, and propose new innovations. As part of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will design new Delivery Stations, support process optimization, and integrate new technologies into existing sites to improve safety, customer experience, quality, and cost efficiency.

You will serve as a key contact for your area, working closely with local Operations and support teams, requiring strong project management, analytical skills, and a data-driven approach. Regular domestic travel is involved, and you will report to the Manager of the Design Engineering team in your supported country.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive design and upgrade projects for new and legacy sites, including automation integration.
  2. Lead technology integration and standardization across EU programs, owning layout optimizations.
  3. Share best practices for network standardization with EU counterparts.
  4. Provide engineering expertise on material flow, conveyor placement, equipment needs, and real estate implications.
  5. Identify and lead strategic initiatives to improve processes and station designs, engaging stakeholders and presenting to leadership.

About the Team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Experience in process development in industrial, logistics, or manufacturing settings.
  • Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Project Management.
  • Languages: English and German.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MSc, or MEng in related fields.
  • Certified Black Belt or Green Belt.
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
