Product Development Engineer – PP Compounds (m / f / d)

The role:
In this position you will strengthen the development department and at the same time be part of a diverse and interesting area of responsibility incorporated.

Your tasks:

• Process development tasks for the new and further development of PP compounds.
• Recipe maintenance and recipe optimization through application testing.
• Advice to customers about possible uses of the products through to the introduction of the new ones.
• Support customers with sampling, resolving complaints, etc.
• Determination of quality guidelines, including when developing new products.
• Preparation of technological documents.
• Cost optimization by using suitable starting materials for recipes.
• Advising purchasing on the selection and procurement of raw materials.
• Support in the introduction of new test procedures, test methods and implementation of practical work in the technical center and test laboratory.
• Supporting the introduction of new recipes on the system.

Your profile:

• Experience in the application technology of compounds, ideally in the area of injection moulding (advantageous). Initial experience in recipe creation and application technology is desirable.
• Proficient use of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High level of analytical thinking and interdisciplinary problem solving.
• Flexible, dynamic, enjoy working in a team, motivated and reliable.
• Willingness to participate in business travel when required.
• Fluent English is required. Knowledge of German would be advantageous.
