Sentronics Metrology GmbH , recently acquired by Nova, is a leading company in the field of high-precision metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Based in Mannheim, Sentronics brings over 25 years of experience in developing state-of-the-art metrology systems.

As a Production Manager (m/f/d) at Sentronics Metrology (a Nova Company) in Mannheim, you will play a key role in organizing, managing, and further developing our production processes for high-precision metrology solutions in the semiconductor industry. You will be responsible for planning and implementing efficient manufacturing workflows while ensuring on-time production and compliance with the highest quality standards.

In close collaboration with the departments of R&D, procurement, warehouse, and quality management, you will coordinate cross-functional interfaces and ensure smooth operations. With your technical expertise, leadership experience, and structured working style, you will make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes and the long-term strengthening of our competitiveness.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the efficient planning, control, and organization of production operations
  • Leading and developing the production team, both professionally and disciplinarily
  • Ensuring quality, delivery reliability, and optimal resource utilization across all production activities
  • Driving the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes using Lean and Kanban methodologies
  • Playing an active role in the implementation of new production processes and the industrialization of new products
  • Working in close coordination with R&D, procurement, warehouse, quality management, and service to ensure smooth workflows
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations
  • Making confident use of the ERP system for planning and controlling production activities
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement (CIP) through proactive engagement and structured initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with a degree in process engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Extensive leadership experience in production management or a comparable role, ideally within a high-tech or mechanical engineering environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams both professionally and disciplinarily, fostering continuous development of team members
  • Solid expertise in Lean Management and Kanban methodologies, with a track record of successful process optimization
  • Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems and MS Office as integral tools in daily operations
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, with expertise in a multicultural corporate environment and excellent interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, a hands-on mentality, and exceptional organizational talent
  • High level of self-motivation, strong quality awareness, and a structured approach to work
