The following professorship is to be filled in the department building‑art‑materials at the location Campus Koblenz as soon as possible.

Professor (f/m/d) for Building Technology and Design

(Base Salary: W 2). Part‑time employment is possible.

Your tasks:

• Teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas Building technology and Design
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.)
• Participation in academic self‑administration

Your profile:

• Professional expertise in the teaching area building technology and the associated energy concepts, as well as design
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
• Openness to develop new teaching content according to further strategic employment
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Fluent in German (minimum C2‑level) and in English (minimum C1‑level)

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland‑Palatinate (HochSchG).
