Responsibilities

• Represent the field of Baubetrieb in teaching and research within the scope of Bauverfahrenstechnik.
• Teach foundational content in the Bachelor programs, such as Bauverfahrens- und Sicherheitstechnik.
• Equip students with the ability to select suitable construction methods for various tasks in high-rise, civil, and structural engineering, as well as in renovation and deconstruction.
• Convey practice-oriented knowledge in the Master program, particularly Bauverfahrenstechnik in the Ausbaugewerke and during deconstruction.
• Represent Bauverfahrenstechnik in cooperative study programs such as "Baumanagement" and "Bauen im Bestand".
• Contribute to applied research in Bauverfahrens- und Sicherheitstechnik.
• Participate actively in the further development of the department and in self-administration of the university.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in civil engineering with a focus on construction management, plus a qualified PhD.
• Several years of relevant practical experience in process-technical planning and implementation of high-rise and civil engineering projects; experience with renovation and deconstruction is desirable.
• Willingness to teach in English to support the internationalization strategy; preferably with teaching experience at the university level.
• Ideally, experience with securing research funding and a broad network with industry partners.
