CoSTAR Live Lab is a brand‑new R&D facility for the UK's creative industries, led by the University of York and based at Production Park in Wakefield. It delivers grant funding, business incubators, accelerators, workshops and events to support the development of new products, services and technologies across the live performance industry.

Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Programme Coordinator to support the CoSTAR Live Lab team in delivering this activity. Working directly with the Programme Manager, your responsibilities will include managing financial documentation, preparing reports, servicing meetings for CoSTAR Live Lab's governing bodies, and maintaining regular communications with internal and external stakeholders. Your role will be predominantly home‑based, with travel to CoSTAR Live Lab required up to 2 days per month to support meetings and events. However, if you prefer to be in the office more frequently, there will be dedicated desk space for you to use as you like.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial documentation and financial process for the programme.
  • Prepare reports and keep the records secure and organised.
  • Service meetings for CoSTAR Live Lab governing bodies and maintain stakeholder communications.
  • Support the organisation of meetings and events at CoSTAR Live Lab.

Skills, Experience & Qualification Needed

  • Experience of effective working in a busy and varied administrative role, balancing multiple competing priorities (Essential).
  • Demonstrable experience in end‑to‑end financial document management, including processing invoices, purchase orders, validating expense claims and maintaining secure, organised records systems (Essential).
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise multiple workstreams (Essential).
  • Previous experience of administering grant funding and/or publicly‑funded business support programmes (Desirable).
  • Knowledge and/or experience of university IT systems (Desirable).
