Project Developer BESS

Location : Berlin

Salary : €70,000 - 80,000 + up to a 30% Annual Bonus

My client is looking for a Project Developer BESS to contribute towards Germany's goal of reaching 200+GW solar capacity by 2030!

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale solar projects—from site identification and land securing to permitting and construction readiness.
2. Build strong relationships with municipalities, landowners, cooperatives, and farmers to ensure community-aligned project development.
3. Coordinate external consultants and collaborate with internal teams (GIS, land acquisition, grid, PPA, finance).
4. Develop and maintain a network of JV and cooperation partners.
5. Identify opportunities to acquire BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects.
6. Support the regional manager in driving the project pipeline forward.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years experience with BESS.
• Degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in a relevant field.
• Strong grasp of project management tools and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of the German energy market and an established industry network.
