Project Developer – Wind Energy – Germany


My client is a leading renewable energy company dedicated to driving the energy transition through innovative wind energy solutions. As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and delivering wind energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites for wind energy projects.
• Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
• Collaborate with landowners, communities, and stakeholders to secure land agreements and build support for projects.
• Coordinate with technical teams to assess feasibility, including wind resource analysis and grid connection.
• Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and partners to secure project resources.
• Represent the company in public hearings, community meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in renewable energy, environmental studies, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, preferably wind energy.
• Strong understanding of the permitting and regulatory landscape in Germany.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Fluency in German (required) and English (preferred).
