Project Engineer – Renewable Energy | Remote, Europe

Are you an experienced electrical engineer or technical project manager with a background in onshore wind or energy storage projects?

Our client, a fast-growing international IPP is hiring a Project Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of complex renewable energy projects across Europe — with a focus on Onshore Wind and Battery Storage. This is a key role with immediate impact, supporting utility-scale projects across multiple countries in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


The Role

You’ll work across the full technical lifecycle from initial design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and grid connection on high-impact renewable energy projects. You’ll collaborate with developers, EPCs and internal teams while ensuring technical consistency and quality across a growing European pipeline.


Requirements


• Proven experience working on onshore wind projects — full project lifecycle
• Exposure to BESS and hybrid projects (beneficial but not essential)
• Strong electrical engineering background, ideally with HV/substation design or delivery
• Ability to work autonomously as you’ll be the lead technical point of contact
• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders and contractors (EPCs, TSOs, grid operators)
• Proficiency in engineering software like PVsyst, PowerFactory, AutoCAD or equivalent
• Based in Poland, Romania, Portugal, or the Balkans (or open to relocating)
• Fluent in English


💶 Salary & Benefits

€60,000–€70,000 depending on experience
