Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the construction of a new office building and plant security systems. The role involves technical oversight, planning review, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with nuclear industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and support bidding and technical clarification discussions
• Assess W&M planning for plant security systems (e.g., perimeter detection, communications, lighting)
• Prepare change and maintenance reports in collaboration with the Emsland decommissioning facility
• Monitor construction progress during assembly/commissioning, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality
• Communicate with authorities in coordination with the client (BGZ)
• Perform on-site work weekly after contract award, increasing to ~50% later
• Apply relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., KTA, SEWD RL Interim Storage, SEWD RL IT)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
Experience in the field of nuclear technology is desirable but not required
