Project Engineer / Solutions Architect (m/f/d)

As a Solutions Architect you are responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions in the media, broadcast and IT sectors within our international project business. You will be coresponsible for the success of the project delivering on time and within budget. You are a strong communicator and have a thorough understanding of current technical solutions and market developments in the broadcast and IT sectors. You will also support our customers directly on site or remotely when necessary and thus ensure the smooth business operation of all relevant media, broadcast and IT systems.

Your Tasks

• Conception and planning of media technical solutions in the areas of media, broadcast and IT
• Sharing responsibility for project success
• Processing of technically demanding tenders or offers
• Coordination with customers, manufacturers and internal teams
• Technical commissioning of AV and IT components as well as problem identification and resolution
• Execution of acceptance tests and support of on-air processes
• Support for our customers beyond normal working hours if required and taking over on-call duties
• Testing, error analysis, documentation, problem resolution, vendor management, incl. on-site assignments

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering (Diploma or Master) with several years of professional experience
• Understanding of modern IT concepts such as virtualization, cloud computing, web services, microservices, etc.
• Basic knowledge of scripting and programming
• Proven experience in international technical projects
• Experience in system maintenance, technical service and support welcome
• High willingness to learn and grasp new things
• A good knowledge of English, German or French, depending on the location, and either as a second language
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
