Project Manager – Data, Digital & Technology (Europe)Location: Germany (remote)Contract type: Freelance (12 month contract - full time) Day rate: €700/day RoleA leading international services organisation delivering critical operations across Europe is seeking a Project Manager to join its Data, Digital & Technology team. This is a key opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation programme supporting operations across multiple sectors, including government and defence. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering complex technology projects, driving consistency, value, and change across diverse geographies in a fast-evolving environment. What You’ll DoLead and deliver IT and digital projects to agreed scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.Engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders across business and technology functions.Lead cross-functional teams that include internal staff and external suppliers across different countries.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, maintaining strong governance and documentation.Ensure consistent communication and alignment across all stakeholders.Monitor project budgets and supplier costs, ensuring financial and operational performance.Support senior management with clear reporting and presentations on project status and outcomes. About YouStrong background in IT project management, delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.Technical understanding across areas such as Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS), M365, Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Management.Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:Cloud transformation (on-prem to Azure)Migrations (identity, mail, device, or fileserver to SharePoint)Implementations of systems such as ServiceNow, ERP, or HR platformsExperienced in both Agile and Waterfall delivery, with strong JIRA skills.Excellent stakeholder management up to C-level, with experience leading geographically dispersed teams.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Fluent in English and German (C1 or native).ITIL knowledge or consulting experience is an advantage.
