Overview
Responsible for the integration and acceptance of partial deliveries into a complete training system at designated on-site locations. Acts as the central contact for all parties involved and ensures that integration, testing, and handover of the training facilities are completed on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and control the Integration and Handover work package for training systems.
• Coordinate final assembly and on-site rollout activities, including logistics such as material acceptance.
• Serve as primary on-site liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct acceptance testing and manage documentation of installation activities.
• Implement quality assurance measures and lessons learned processes.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, information technology, or a comparable technical/commercial field.
Alternatively: a completed vocational IT or commercial qualification with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications: Valid project management certification such as IPMA Level D, Prince2, or PMP, or an equivalent credential.

Languages: German C1 and English B1 (CEFR) proficiency.

Professional Experience

Project Management: Minimum 4 years of experience as a project manager or consultant in digitalization projects, including at least 1 year in a defense-related environment.

Technical Project Leadership: At least 2 years leading IT projects with responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution.

Tools: Hands-on experience with Jira (or comparable project management tools) and Microsoft Project.

Technical Understanding: Fundamental knowledge of IT integration across hardware, software, and network components.

Soft Skills

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities with professional demeanor.
• Service-oriented mindset and assertiveness in managing stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Independent working style with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 80% of working time as required.
Ability to work on-site with flexible remote options by arrangement.
