In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Product / Project Manager you will serve as a client‑facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful Product / Project Manager is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

• Proposal Development: Identify business drivers and goals and develop compelling proposals and value‑driven business cases to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Requirements Analysis and Specifications Design: Translate client’s business needs into business requirements and participate in the production of detailed design and technical specifications.
• Future‑Ready Architecture Planning: Understand the requirements, current architecture state of the enterprise and create roadmaps for future enhancements accordingly.
• Project and Solution Delivery: Manage the delivery of projects and the implementation of solutions across the entire product / project lifecycle according to the business case and client’s as well as IBM’s expectations.

Required education

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Master’s Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Knowledge and experience as Business Analyst / PO Proxy.
• Output‑Management for Automotive applications.
• Client communication on printing components.
• Interface management with internal and external applications.
• Coordination between application owners and development teams.
• Definition and creation of new document types.
• Cloud Computing: In‑depth technical understanding of modern cloud system architectures.
• Change Management & Digital Strategy: Knowledge in handling change processes and strategic alignment of digital projects.
• Digital Business Processes & Essentials: Comprehension of digital business models and process optimization.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Internet of Things: Independent creation of networks using MQTT, Portainer, and Node‑Red.
• Software Management & Enterprise Architecture: Understanding of software lifecycle management and establishment and control of complex IT landscapes.
