 What do you contribute? 
 As a project manager for the installation of overhead catenary systems, you will manage the development and implementation of installation concepts and execute installation work in our railroad electrification projects. You will ensure delivery within agreed time, budget, and quality in accordance with contractual requirements. 
 Responsibilities 
  - Support the sales department in implementing country strategies, develop optimized installation and testing concepts, and qualify installation partners and subcontractors. 
  - Manage the tendering and award process for planning, construction supervision, and construction services, promote state‑of‑the‑art methods such as Design‑to‑Value Engineering. 
  - Influence the construction process, improve technical documentation, and optimize execution concepts in the long term. 
  - Handle technical requirements management in tendering and project development, coordinate interfaces between technical and non‑technical partners, and perform opportunity and risk management. 
  - Control construction projects and monitor compliance with time, cost, and quality targets on site. 
  - Monitor construction progress, check site documentation, provide technical support for contract and supplementary management, and report to stakeholders. 
  - Drive development of a global expert network and promote the introduction of developed methods within Siemens Mobility by sharing best practices. 
   
 Qualifications 
  - University degree (diploma or master’s) in electrical engineering or a comparable discipline with electrical engineering content. 
  - Extensive professional experience in detailed planning and award of installation services, structural and/or technical project management. 
  - Experience in procurement and qualification of installation subcontractors, tendering process, and in‑depth knowledge of overhead line systems. 
  - Proficiency in preparing schedules, including resource plans for brown‑field and green‑field installations, and developing installation and testing procedures. 
  - Intercultural experience through assignments abroad and willingness to travel worldwide (up to 30%). 
  - Business‑fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage.
