Cyberteam is working with a Berlin-based company that’s helping reshape the future of power systems. Their focus is on building cleaner, smarter alternatives to traditional switchgear used in medium-voltage networks. Their technology is already being used by major players in the energy space and is part of a growing push toward more sustainable infrastructure.
We’re looking for a Protection & Control Engineer with a solid background in substation automation, relay protection, and system integration.


What You’ll Do
• Design protection and control systems for substations up to 400kV
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams using EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Carry out relay settings and protection coordination studies
• Test and configure protection relays from leading vendors (e.g. Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider)
• Support FAT and SAT processes for protection and control systems
• Prepare documentation like test plans, logic diagrams, and interface specs
• Work with SCADA systems and communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3)
• Support the technical side of sales and tendering when needed


What You’ll Need
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)
• Extensive experience in protection and control systems
• Confident using EPLAN, AutoCAD, and simulation tools
• Deep understanding of relay logic, settings, and troubleshooting
• Familiar with SCADA systems
• B2 level German or higher
• Valid driving license
• Experience in technical sales is a bonus
