Position Overview:
Location: Fully Remote
Role Type: Freelance / B2B / Contract
Duration: 12 month contract


Position Summary
We are seeking a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code while contributing to backend development, API design, and the integration of data pipelines.


Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and APIs.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to model, query, and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and CI/CD integration.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues, improving reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to integrate solutions.


Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Python Developer (3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote teams.


Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
