QA Engineer

We’re searching for a QA Engineer to join our customer in the banking industry. They’re building a brand‑new trading platform and need someone with backend knowledge in either Java or Kotlin. The role focuses on backend testing, and you’ll work closely with our engineering team to ensure high quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will:

• Execute and maintain automated tests for backend components.
• Write Selenium or Cucumber tests to validate trading platform features.
• Work with product and engineering teams to design test plans and investigate defects.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java or Kotlin in backend development.
• Proficient with Selenium or Cucumber for automated testing.
• Knowledge of banking or trading domains is a plus.
• Fluent in German – speaking and reading.
• Good understanding of Agile development cycles.
