QA Engineer (m/f/d)

For our partner, the newest MedTech Start-up out there, we are looking for a QA Engineer (m/f/d) in Cologne or 100% remote.

With its secure IoT platform, roclub makes it possible to control and service medical devices remotely, bringing together healthcare providers and skilled professionals around the world to keep vital systems running, wherever and whenever they’re needed.

Your responsibilities:

You design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web applications built with React and backend services in Golang.
You ensure high-quality end-to-end testing across hardware, software, and IoT devices, including firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and device–cloud communication.
You write clear, reusable test cases and maintain test pipelines using GitHub Actions.
You test APIs, integrations, and microservices (REST/gRPC) and verify system performance, reliability, and security.
You collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to identify, debug, and track defects and ensure smooth product releases.

Your profile:

You have proven experience as a QA/Test Engineer or similar role, with hands-on expertise in automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Ginkgo, etc.).
You are familiar with testing web applications (React), backend services (Golang), and ideally IoT devices.
You can confidently write maintainable test cases and set up/maintain test pipelines.
You have strong debugging, root cause analysis, and defect tracking skills.
Experience with medical devices or applications is a plus.
You are an excellent communicator and enjoy collaborating in international, cross-functional teams. Fluent English skills, ideally also German.
