Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our Jedox Software products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases while actively collaborate with agile development teams, providing valuable input on quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle, from planning and refinement through implementation to delivery.

  • Test execution: Execute tests for changes in Jedox software products to ensure they meet defined specifications, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
  • Test case design: Analyze and understand the scope of software functionalities, translating insights into well-structured test cases using our test management tools.
  • Quality monitoring: Identify and report quality issues early, actively contributing to continuous product improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with agile development teams and provide valuable input on quality assurance throughout the entire development lifecycle – from planning to refinement.
  • QA process improvement: Collaborate with the QA team to enhance testing standards, practices, and tooling.
  • Test automation: Contribute to test automation coverage where applicable by creating, maintaining, and refining automated test cases.

Your Profile

You work with precision and curiosity. You think analytically, test thoroughly, and care deeply about product quality and user experience. You strive to ensure our software is reliable, consistent, and built to the highest standards.

  • Strong understanding of modern Software Development lifecycle
  • Experience in exploratory testing within an agile environment
  • Ability to design reusable test cases , covering edge cases and various formats (e.g., step-based, exploratory charters)
  • Proficiency in test automation, including creating, modifying, and debugging automated test cases for frontend or API testing
  • Ability to understand the user and business context behind software changes, such as new features, epics, and bug fixes
  • Holistic approach to software quality, considering both functional and non-functional aspects
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Curiosity for modern cloud-based architectures , software development processes, and the inner workings of software products
