I'm currently looking for a QA Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Mobile App Testing & Automation for one of my clients. The project offers a maximum hourly rate of €60.

Location: Remote
Start: ASAP
Client HQ: Hamburg
Duration: 3 months+
Hourly rate: up to €60

Tools: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Playwright, Appium, TypeScript, NX Monorepo

Your responsibilities

Write end-to-end tests for our mobile app (iOS & Android)
Work with modern tools like Playwright and Appium – currently 40% of tests are in Appium, 60% in Playwright
Test features in parallel with development – thanks to feature environments, you can spin up your own test system anytime
Closely collaborate with the dev team, pull the latest development state independently, and ensure new features are tested immediately
Actively contribute to the evolution of our test strategy – aiming for a high level of automation (currently around 50‑60%)

What to expect

A strong development team that regularly ships new features – you'll be right in the middle of it
A modern setup with a monorepo (NX), shared code between backend and QA in TypeScript
Two experienced QA colleagues who will onboard and support you
Lots of autonomy and room for your ideas

Your profile

Experience in mobile testing (iOS/Android) and test automation
Familiarity with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose is a plus
Enjoy working independently and exploring new tools
A collaborative mindset and motivation to maintain high product quality
