Quality Assurance Lead for Warehouse Automation - GERMAN speaking
Responsibilities
- Test Plan Development: develop detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements and design documents.
- Functional/System testing: conduct comprehensive tests on Warehouse Management systems and automation solutions to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards.
- Integration testing: collaborate with software and controls teams to test the integration of various system components, ensure seamless communication and functionality.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: identify, document and troubleshoot issues or bugs during testing phases, working closely with development teams to implement fixes.
- Documentation: maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results and any modifications made during the testing process.
- Defect Management: identify, document and track defects using standardized tools and processes.
- Collaboration: collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with cross functional teams, including software developers, project managers and clients to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Continuous improvement: continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- Overall 5+ Years of experience
- Strong understanding of the warehouse automation or logistics domain
- Hands on experience in WES/WMS/WCS, software and controls integration in automated systems
- Hands on experience at site in performing software end to end testing, system testing or commissioning
- Sound knowledge in industry-standard software Quality Assurance methodologies, Software Testing, tools and processes
- Experience in using test management tools like TestRail
- Experience in bug/issue tracking tool like JIRA
- Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems
- Experience in working on Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Estimate requirements based on analysis and prepare high level scenarios and test plans
- Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with onsite testing and commissioning
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing using Java Selenium, TestNG framework
- Experience in backend, API testing and web services such as REST and SOAP
- Experience in CI/CD
- Software Quality Assurance Certifications
